A screen recording can show a real interaction while the mockup supplies the presentation. Put that recording on the large inner display and give the cover a deliberate still image.

Use a reusable template as your starting point, then apply the choices in this article.
A paid plan is required to use templates and export.
Prepare a recording people can follow
Capture one short task with a clear beginning and result. Remove unrelated desktop activity, private information and long pauses before using the file in a public campaign. The recommended inner artwork proportions are 2670 × 1878; a recording with a different shape needs a careful crop review.
Large inner screen accepts MP4, WebM and QuickTime video sources as well as images. Actual playback still depends on the codec inside the file and browser support. An MP4 filename alone is not proof that every browser can decode it.
Combine motion inside with a still outside
Use a separate cover image when the closed pose should show a product title or a stable opening state. Small outer screen accepts PNG, JPG or WebP stills, so prepare that file independently.
- Select the intended shot and upload the recording to Large inner screen.
- Wait for loading to complete and preview the recording with the device fully open.
- Upload a still to Small outer screen if the cover should not inherit the large source.
- Check the timeline at the start, middle and end of the shot. Ensure the useful interaction occurs while the inner display is visible.
- Replay the full sequence and inspect any cuts or fold transitions around the recording.
Check two kinds of motion together
A fast camera move and a fast screen interaction can compete for attention. Let the device settle while a menu opens, a result appears or small text needs to be read. The point is to show the product action, not simply to have everything moving.
Native video export requires paid access and a supported Chromium browser. Keep the tab open through encoding, then play the downloaded MP4. If the source never loads, test the recording locally and re-encode it to a commonly supported format before retrying. Do not treat a loading thumbnail as a finished playback check.
Final pass
Before you call it finished
- The recording loads and plays on the inner display.
- The cover has an intentional still or intentional linked source.
- The important interaction remains visible in the downloaded video.
