Let one image carry the identity
Prepare original abstract cover art or artwork you have permission to use. Put that same cover on the outer screen and in a selected item on the inner view. A repeated color or shape helps connect the compact player-like state to the broader browsing layout.
Do not use a famous album simply because it makes the mockup feel familiar. A portfolio example can use a clearly fictional title and artist, while a real campaign should follow the product team's approved rights and branding choices. The aim is to present the interface without implying an endorsement or a catalog relationship.
A proposed visual progression
Keep the selected release larger than the surrounding recommendations. If every card is equally colorful, the wider screen can become a mosaic with no reading order.

Make the visual work without sound
Even when a finished campaign includes licensed audio elsewhere, the mockup should explain its product state when muted. A selected release, a credible control state and a coherent browsing structure are stronger evidence than a decorative equalizer added solely to suggest activity.
The native small outer upload accepts a still image. If the real interface includes movement, a recording belongs on the large inner source, with its timing reviewed alongside the camera. Avoid changing several covers at the same time as the fold if that obscures the selected item. A useful deliverable is an open still plus a short reveal; both should use the same artwork permissions and fictional-data labeling. The direction remains a concept until those sources and behaviors are supplied.
