The keyboard changes what the image suggests about the app. Keep it for a writing or productivity context, or remove it when the touch interface should carry the composition.

Choose the presentation for the workflow
Both iPad Air and iPad Pro expose Case + Keyboard in SynthMock. The option is available in landscape presentation. In portrait, the control is disabled and the editor asks you to switch to Landscape to use it.
Prepare the source for the selected model: iPad Air uses a 2732 × 2048 px landscape artwork canvas, while iPad Pro uses 2752 × 2064 px. Those are model artwork recommendations, separate from the final image dimensions.
Compare the two versions with the same app
Use the same artwork and finish while comparing keyboard-on and keyboard-off compositions. Otherwise the background or source change can distract from the decision you are making.
- Select iPad Air or iPad Pro and upload the tablet artwork.
- Choose Landscape in Device orientation if you want the keyboard visible.
- Turn Case + Keyboard on for a workspace presentation, or off for a tablet-focused view.
- Reframe with the Camera controls after switching; the visible object occupies a different shape.
- Inspect the screen at the intended delivery size and keep the main app content prominent.
Do not let the accessory become the subject
A keyboard supports a productivity story, but it can take a large share of the frame. If the app’s main canvas becomes too small, move closer or use a more frontal angle. A drawing or reading interface may be clearer with the accessory removed.
If the toggle appears unavailable, check orientation before assuming the project is broken. If portrait is essential to the campaign, use the tablet-focused presentation and prepare an upright source layout. Export the final still with paid access, then inspect the actual crop and text clarity.
Final pass
Before you call it finished
- The keyboard choice supports the app’s workflow.
- Landscape is selected whenever the keyboard is required.
- The exported screen remains large enough to read.
