Choose complementary views
Pick a small set with distinct jobs: a cover introduction, a clear inner-screen view, and perhaps a rear or hinge detail. Do not select three adjacent frames that communicate the same thing simply because they look slightly different.
Use the sequence’s consistent finish, background and lighting as the visual connection. A set taken from unrelated moments with different source artwork or exposure can feel less coherent than a group intentionally composed as stills.
Export each paused frame deliberately
Scrubbing lets you find a useful composition, but the exact middle of a move may contain an ambiguous fold or unreadable reflection. Favor frames that can stand alone.
- Pause on the first chosen frame and wait for the viewport to settle.
- Confirm the visible source, Fold pose and final output ratio.
- Choose Image in Export and use a consistent size and format for the set.
- Export the next selected frame using the same delivery settings.
- Name the files by their role, such as cover, inner and rear, rather than relying only on sequence order.
- Review the files together in a contact sheet or design layout.
Review the set, not only each file
Check that the phone’s scale and placement feel intentional across the group. Some variation is useful for a detail shot, but accidental changes in finish or background are distracting. Make the interface large enough to read in the screen-focused image.
If one selected frame requires a camera edit, remember that an active effect endpoint may be changed by that edit. Preserve the useful animation and make any adjustment deliberately. Paid native image export is required for these stills just as it is for a static project.
