Organize Duo templates in a folder

Decide what belongs together

A useful Duo folder might contain a cover introduction, an inner-screen reveal and a slower screen-focused scene. Give the collection a name that explains its purpose. A folder called Launch toolkit communicates more than a string of export timestamps.

Save the individual projects as templates first. Folders contain templates; they are not a substitute for saving unsaved editor work. Consider whether the collection should offer a coherent visual family or several clearly labeled alternatives.

Create and populate the folder

Open Templates in your account. You can start from the folder itself or add a template through its item menu.

1. Choose New folder and enter a meaningful name.
2. Use Add templates or Choose templates to select the items that belong in the collection.
3. Save the selection and check the folder’s displayed template count.
4. For an individual template, its Add to folder menu action provides another way to include it.
5. Open the folder and use Search this folder to check that a specific item is present.

Review the collection as a recipient

Check that each preview is recognizable and each name distinguishes the scene. Six near-identical titles make comparison harder even if the camera moves differ. Use descriptions or naming to clarify whether a template emphasizes the cover, inner display or a complete sequence.

Removing an item from a folder is different from deleting the underlying template. Read the action you are choosing before changing the collection. If a folder was edited in another tab, reload and inspect its current contents before saving another selection. After the contents are correct, use Share folder to create or manage its public link.
