Custom image dimensions describe the entire exported composition. Set width and height for the destination, then inspect how the device and its screen occupy that canvas.

Start with a Duo scene.
Use a reusable template as your starting point, then apply the choices in this article.
A paid plan is required to use templates and export.
Separate source pixels from output pixels
The Duo cover recommendation of 1291 × 1878 px and inner recommendation of 2670 × 1878 px describe uploaded screen artwork. They do not tell you how large your final campaign image must be. A square or wide export can contain either source.
SynthMock’s custom still-image controls accept dimensions up to 5120 pixels per side. Enter the size required for the actual placement rather than maximizing both numbers automatically. A larger file uses more resources and may be unnecessary for a small card.
Set width and height deliberately
Choose the composition’s ratio before polishing its framing. If the destination changes from wide to tall, review the camera crop as a new layout rather than treating the change as a simple increase in resolution.
- Open Export and select Image.
- Choose Custom in the size control.
- Enter the intended width and height, keeping each within the displayed limit.
- Confirm that the resulting ratio matches your planned scene.
- Inspect the phone edges and important screen region, then export with paid access.
- Open the file and confirm its actual pixel dimensions.
Check detail at the intended display size
A custom export can preserve more available detail, but it cannot reconstruct a blurred source screenshot. Inspect the original app artwork if small text still looks poor. Keep the device large enough in the final frame to communicate its main feature.
If an entered dimension exceeds the limit, use a supported size rather than repeatedly submitting the same value. If the downloaded crop surprises you, compare the selected output ratio with the viewport used during composition. Keep a separately framed version when one image cannot serve both a wide desktop hero and a narrow mobile placement.
Final pass
Before you call it finished
- Output width and height match the requested delivery.
- Each dimension is within the 5120-pixel limit.
- The file’s actual dimensions and final crop have been checked.
