An unsupported export browser is different from a broken project. Save the scene first, open it in a supported environment, and check the source media before restarting the render.
Try it in SynthMock
Start with a Duo scene.
Use a reusable template as your starting point, then apply the choices in this article.
A paid plan is required to use templates and export.
Read the error before changing the project
SynthMock’s native video export uses browser video-encoding capabilities. Its current export message requires Chrome or another supported Chromium-based browser; Firefox and Safari are not supported for this native export path.
If the page reports unsupported video export, changing the Fold angle, deleting effects or replacing a valid image will not provide the missing browser capability. Keep the composition intact while you address the environment.
Reopen the saved project in a supported browser
Use your saved project as the handoff between browsers. Make sure the current sources have completed uploading before leaving the original editor.
- Save the Duo project and note its name.
- Open Chrome or another supported Chromium browser and sign in to the same account.
- Open the project from Projects and confirm both screen sources.
- Preview any inner-screen recording to check that the browser can decode it.
- Verify paid export access, then select the intended video settings and retry.
- Keep the rendering tab open and inspect the completed MP4.
Separate support, access and source problems
A paid-access prompt is an account issue, not a codec issue. A source recording that does not play is a decoding or media issue, not proof that every video export is unsupported. An encoder failure at a particular size deserves its own investigation rather than an assumption that the project is corrupt.
If the problem continues in a supported browser, retain the exact error and the selected size, quality and frame rate. Check that the browser is current and that another heavy graphics task is not exhausting the machine. Avoid closing the only unsaved copy or stripping useful motion just to make repeated attempts.
Final pass
Before you call it finished
- The project is saved and opens in the same account.
- The supported browser plays the source media.
- The retry addresses the actual error without discarding the scene.
Make the next version yours.
